I am working on a Nova project and thinking about shaving the drip rails off. I have never done this before and would like to know if there are any problems or things to be careful of. Also what do you end up with a small gap? does it need to be welded or what?

It doesn't look that hard but it really starts to add up the lobor hours. Helped finish a job once and with all the welding and warping still had about 40hrs in the roof. Unless your really doing the full job door handles, marker lights ect, not worth it IMHO.
