what is ppg self etching primer # Does this come in flat black or do i use DP 90 over the self etching for the black. Do new panels with the EDP coating on them need the self etching primer on them if so what is nessisary to prepair them be for primered. Once the etching primer is applied how long
can parts set before they need to be finished. Also what is the # to a good ppg high build primer

Etching primer is yellow or green in color (I have never seen different, though I am sure someone will tell me if I am wrong). If you have good quality panels with an "E" coat on them, leave it. it is high in Zinc and very good. If you don't know that you have, sand it off and apply an etch primer and the 2K if your choice. The etch primer can set forever if inside. If it sets more than 24 hours or so (check tech sheets) you will need to scuff it.
