I am nearly finished w/ the drum to disc conversion on the front of my '66. I have new calipers and flex lines, but I seem to be missing a bolt or connector that holds the flex line to the caliper. The flex line has a sort of 90 degree end on it but missing a bolt or whatever is used to connect it. Please help explain what is missing!

Are you referring to the banjo bolt...holds the "block" at the end of the brake hose to the caliper. Uses two copper washers (one each side)to seal.

Yep, that must be the banjo bolt. The picture below is Year One's part # 9255N, but they should have that and the copper washers at any parts store.

I just bought two banjo bolts today...rebuilding (replacing) the complete factory disc/drum brake system on my '72.
Used Auto Zone part #313935...$3.29 each.

Watch the length on the banjo bolts if you get them from local parts store. Some of these parts are sort of universal fit. When I did the conversion on my 67, one set that I bought only engaged about 2 threads, enough to get tight but not enough to be "right". I got another set from another store that where longer.

Went to my local Car Quest, they had an assortment of these, but they had no idea which one was correct. I guessed at which one was correct (length was the variable). Got home and checked, there are about 5 or 6 threads engagement and it looks like a good fit.
Thanks for the help!
