I was looking at a 70 conv today and was wondering if the convertibles have the same quarter edge as the coupes. I am talking about where the quarter meets the panel under the rear widow on coupes, (where the sides of the trunk lid continue up onto the body). Is that seam supposed to be smooth on the convertibles and showing the seam on the coupes. In thought they show on both. I hope this was a good enough explanation.

Has anyone found a way to keep the seam from cracking the paint over time?
