Could you guys post a side pic of your '69 car with a 2" drop in front? I'm planning a drum to disc swap and debating on the 2" drop spindle.

My car has stock BB springs and 235/60/15s in front.

If you could post what you've done in the rear that would be helpful to.

Thanks,
Hugh

See my sig... mine is dropped about 2" but I just cut 1-1/2 coils off the original spring. Tires are 235/60s and rubbed a little on the deep offset 15x8s... I've got them on 15x7s now with no problems :)

Whatever you do, do not make the mistake of getting big block lowering coils and then cutting them. I have a set of Hotchkis 1" front lowering springs that I cut one coil from for ride height. Is was so stikk and hard that the spring would walk in the control arm on the Penna. back country roads. Personally, I would either run stock springs and dropped spindles or for 1 ot 1-1/2" go with the adjustable coil overs.

Just get a pair of 2" lower springs from Coil Spring Specialties and you're set.
Installed a pair in my former 68 and they worked fine.

Love your car, Derek!! I've actually saved that pic to keep as a reference!
What did you do for the rear?

Clint: as the springs are new I wouldn't want to switch them. Getting the drop spindles with the disc kit will be the easier route to go if I decided to do it.

Thanks.

Just make sure that the drop spindles don't require G-body brakes. They suck.
