My 70 ss has just been painted, only one problem I think. The stripes going down the trunk stop about an inch to inch and a half before the metal bends down to the metal, (where the key whole is)
Is this the correct factory length?

I have been looking at photos online of other 70's with strips and it looks like they all stop about an inch before the end of the trunk.

Please help before I except the car from the body shop
