I think a vendor at spring carlisle was selling new GM aluminum rear drums for our cars, but I didn't get the part number. I think they are availible new GM. If they are, I really hope some posts the part number so that we can take advantage in lieu of trips through countless boneyards.

Dirt trackers use them all the time... I believe late 70's monte carlo's used those brake drums. Im not sure if they fit.

Is that list for 12 or 10 bolt rear ends? Or are 12 and 10 bolt drums the same size?

The last passenger car 12 bolt was in 1972.. So they all are ten bolts after that. Im not sure about the bolt spacing though. Better check what you find and make sure its 5 0n 4 3/4 bolt spacing.

Since all the rear ends after '72 are 10 bolts, would a post '72 drum fit a pre '72 12 bolt rear? Sorry if it may sound like I'm repeating myself, I'm just not sure if you totally understood my original quesiton :)
