On a 1967 Chevelle that would have a Turquoise or Bright Blue interior would these two colors be the same as 1966 Chevelle that would have them? I ask because a friend of mine who has a 1967 Chevelle that is Marina blue is considering a Turquoise interior but we can't find any 67's that have this color but have found a 1966 Chevelle that has a Turqouise interior and we're wondering if the color was the same between the two years(66 and 67), so he can get an idea of if he wants this color interior before he orders it, thanks.

C'mon someone has to know? I was at a cruise-in Saturday and saw a 67 Chevelle with Bright blue interior and it looks exactly like the interior color I saw in a 68 El Camino once, so I'm going to assume that the colors were the same for 66-67.

I don't have the interior color charts for the two years but I do know that they don't change the name of colors every year. Black is black and turquoise is turquoise. If you have a Marina blue exterior you best choices for a blue interior are the "bright blue" (matches the Marina blue exterior) or the "lt blue" which is a tad lighter than the exterior blue. A turquoise interior wouldn't be the best choice IMHO for a marina blue car.

Maybe me, but a confusing question/wording..probably me

But.. I will say that the interior color of Bright Blue is no different from a 66 or 67 SSS. Marina Blue Body Color is no different for 66 or 67 SS. Turquoise is a diff. story, as there is also Tahoe Turquoise. and Emerald Turquoise in 67's., while in 66 there was Artesian Turquoise and Tropic Turquoise.

Tropic Turquoise and Tahoe Turquoise are probably very close, but things did change from one year to another, though slightly., Example is My color.. Danube Blue in 66, which became Deepwater Blue in 67.. they are similar but not the same in color.

That said.. I would say anyoe with a Marina Blue Car woul dbe making a huge mistake to go with a Turquoise interior color.. Marina Blue Body looks good with bright Blue int., black interior and even white...Have never seen a Factory Marina Blue 66 or 67 with Turquoise interior

Thanks for the responses guys, you really cleared it up well. I will try to find some pictures to get a better idea of how the colors would look, right now my friends 67 still has some of the original black interior and it has been out of the bodyshop for about a month now so I'm helping him out with finding out which shade blue would go best with his Marina blue exterior and it looks like bright blue will match the marina bluse best, thanks again.
