What size of lines do I need to run for a 454? Also, what type of sending unit do I need for the gas tank, and how many lines? I've seen units with two lines. Also, where is the best place to buy parts from? I've been looking mostly at Paddock's.

3/8" is always a good bet you you are trying to feed a BB engine

3/8ths is what GM used for the factory BB cars. Stock sending units are availabe from all most anywhere, its a two wire deal and a float that vairies electicial resistance and tell the guage what to read. I am using an Autometer guage for fuel level. They sell a GM specific guage that works with the stock GM sending unit. As far as the fuel line from the tank to carb............no return line is needed, thats more of a high pressure / fuel injection thing going on there. A good mech pump, single 3/8 line and a good filter will take care of feeding your carbed BIG BLOCK.
