Is there any way to spot a repro hood vs an OEM hood once there is paint on it?

My son's car is a 71 with an original CI hood and my 70 conv has a repo which I installed 2yrs ago. The ONLY way I can tell them apart is to park the 2 side by side, raise both hoods and compare some of the contours of the underhood bracing. Some of the contours are very, very SLIGHTLY different, that's all I can see. I am 100% satisfied with the repo hood on my car.

Thanks Tom. I just purchased a 70 rebuilder (buckets, console, 4-speed, tach & gauges, disk brakes, and small-block car) with an SS hood and the seller threw in a CI hood with flapper also. I may sell it and do not want to advertise it incorrectly.
