Yes, I know the general consensus on Saginaws, but it's all I got. Question:
Does Hurst Comp Plus Shifter part number 391 7930 fit ALL Saginaw 4-speeds, or does it vary by year?
Thanks in advance.

Anyone? Sorry, but my uncertainty over this shifter being the correct one is the only thing keeping my car off the street right now. I asked tech support at Mr. Gasket and this is the number they gave me, but their answer was kind of confusing. I also can't really read the numbers on the Sag so I don't know what year it's from. Will the same shifter fit all Sags?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had a Comp Plus on a Saginaw in a '78 Camaro and swapped it later onto an M-20. The only thing I changed were the rods. Don't know the part number but I could go dig it up if you really needed it. I've still got it in a box, and surprisingly, I think I can find it!:D

Thanks for the reply. I see that it's correct for my car, but I have no idea where the Saginaw I have is from. It's not original and the numbers on it don't tell me much. Does it matter if my Saginaw is from any particular time period?
Thanks again.
