It depends on the gun you are using, and the type of primer. High Volume Low Pressure (HLVP) gravity feed guns will use lower pressure than suction type guns. Get the tech sheet for the primer you are using. You should be able to get it from the place where you bought the primer. It will tell you what pressure range you should have your compressor set at. You should have a regulator at the gun also to "fine tune" the pressure.
