These cars are going to the crusher in about 2 weeks and i have a chance to buy parts, or even obtain the whole car for a few hundred dollars if not next to nothing. . . .

70 El Camino
68?69? El Camino
Several 80s Caminos
3 - 63-64 Hardtop Impalas
2 - 67-68 Impalas, 1 white, 1 yellow
2 - 68 Chevelles, both have surface rust but are about 80% complete.

Im looking for a front Disc Brake setup for my chevelle, which of the above would be a direct swap?? Assuming these vehicles do have disc brakes to begin with.

Also what else is interchangeable??

Thanks for any info :)

The 69-70 El Camino's may have the disc brakes and will fit as well as many other interchaingeable parts.

What condition are the 80s El Camino's in? I know several people that may be intrested in them in another board.

68/69 El Camino boxed frames are getting a little hard to find.

Chris R - i can get some pics for you this afternoon, and email em to you tonight. I just need your email address.

Dean - There is 1 68/69 El Camino there, that i do have a pic of. Email me at jason.brown@ihs.gov

Its not an entire pic of the car but shows the front end.

Does this guy who's going to crush these cars know anything about Ebay, or the internet in general? Nowadays, you can find a buyer for anything out there. Unless steel scrap is paying by the pound instead of the ton, I'd say crushing a decent parts car is just plain stupid. For the record, it's been about 12-13 years since I've pulled a part for my '64 El Camino from any junkyard around here. I rely heavily on the internet for my parts.
