Would welcome thoughts from those that know their '69s. Primarily interested in whether this car apprears to be what it is advertised to be by what is supplied in the ad and pictures.
On ebay as item # 4562775826

The engine components date codes are too far apart. Yes, I know it is possible, but I don't think you're going to have heads that are over a month apart. I've worked on many a virgin Chevrolet V8's and I'm a bit leary of this one.
The fact that the seller makes a point to list the dates of the block, heads, etc etc and then the build date of the car tells me that this engine has been "put together".
For this kind of coin, I'd have to see the car in person. Have a long talk with ther seller and see lots of documentation. (build sheet for sure).
The A169 head looks like a good match for the block, but the 1968 (Dec 4), cast head is just too far off IMHO.
The intake manifold # doesn't even show up in my books. Bogus.
03D is not the 3rd week of March, it's the 4th week of March.

Many incorrect items in the engine compartment. One biggie is the incorrect routing of the PCV hose to the rear of the carb. Usually the earmark of a generic Holley replacement carb. Factory carbs had PCV fitting on the pass side, with the hose routed around the front of the carb.
