1990 Olds Cutlas supreme. How do I change the pressure hose on the power steering. Can't seem to get to it. Got the hose off the pump but can't get to the other end. Thinking I might have to remove master cyl. and booster, or Drop back of sub frame. Any help would be great. Thanks John

Try dropping the shifter all the way down to L1.This will give you just a little more room.I use a crows foot socket (flare wrench style )on a 30 inch long extension to break it loose, should be an 18mm.A stubby wrench also helps in this situation.Sometimes it helps to loosen and lower the rear cradle bolts to get some room.
2 other things to watch out for, make sure the belt doesn,t rub on the pressure hose where it runs behind the belt. And if you are replacing the return hose be careful removing the hose from the PS pump nipple. Its plastic and really easy to snap off.
