Pass. side has them at the down side of the bore, driver side on the upper side.

Looks like someone decided to add some oil spray to the camshaft.

My machine shop is closed today so I couldnt call him, didnt know if he did it or what.

I had originally told him I was gonna use a hyd. roller but recently changed my mind to solid, hope this wont hurt anything as far as a solid roller goes.

Hi Mitch,
Not factory.
Your machinist probably did it for extra oiling to the lobes.
I do this on aggressive hyd flat tappet stuff. Used to do it on solid flat tappet but now use the EDM lifters.
Not necessary with a solid roller but it won't hurt anything.
