How much torque should it take to turn over a solid roller motor with the valve train set up? The assembled shortblock used to take ~30 lbs. I bet it is approximately 75 lbs now with the valvetrain set up. I have 210 lbs on the seat and ~500 lbs open pressure on the valvesprings. Nothing seems to be binding. It did seem to get much easier after the valvetrain was set up on both heads as they seem to balance each other (one spring is closing somewhere while another is opening). I was just wondering if this is normal? This is my first solid roller motor.
Thanks in advance,
