My 67 has been sitting way too much and one brake caliper starting leaking.

I was hoping to get to the NW Regionals in a couple of weeks so thought that I could find a rebuild kit (seals etc) and have had no luck at all. Does anyone know of a source for these now extinct parts? My last set came from a variety of GM dealers.

I realize that they should probably get stainless sleeves but I'm sure they will not be done in time. It seems you cannot buy these rebuilt calipers outright and it's exchange only.

Thanks for any help on this one.

Al, www.partsamerica.com has remanufactured calipers listed on their website for around $140 with the stainless steel sleaves. Core is $60.00, but they ship the parts first then you send them the core. A few weeks ago I had to located a centerlink for a 1965 Ford Falcon V8. All hte centerlinks are ridiculously expensive and no one would sell on outright, even if you did pay for the core. Enter www.partsamerica.com, they sold it. It was expensive, but without a core, it was the only option.

Stainless Steel Brakes is a good bet. I purchased new calipers a few years ago and the rebuild were done by SS Brakes..
