: Painting bellhousing

I've got the bellhousing all cleaned up and ready to paint. I was going to use Eastwood's chevy orange engine paint on it since I'll have some extra after painting the block. Do I need to use a primer first on the aluminum bellhousing or will the Eastwood orange stick well without primer?

Or is there some other product I should be using? Did a search and saw that someone had used POR 15's orange paint.

Plan to do a search on oil pan painting as well but anyone have any suggestions? (prep and paint, color etc..)

Thanks

I would imagine as long as it is good and clean
that just the paint would be fine. If you have
the primer I would say go ahead and use it.
