I have a 460bbc with an 8-71 in my '70 Chevelle.Making ballpark 780-820hp.I have no end of power (as if there were ever too much!)but also have NO traction! Here's what I've done:Th350 3500 stall,GM12 bolt 4.10:1 spool,11.5X28 slick, adjustable upper control arms, relocated instant center via lower "lift bars" wich replace the lower control arms,3-way adjustable shocks on all 4 corners (90/10 frt-50/50 rr).The only thing I haven't done is mess too much with tire presures.I run at about 15psi now.Maybe I need as little as 8?I have seen 900hp cars run mid to low 9s in the quarter on 10" slicks so I don't think my tire size is the issue.I would appreciate all the suggestions you can give me.Thanx

Yank the motor, crate it up and send it to me. I'll send mine back in return. Wala...problem solved!
