Hey, guys. I noticed some tiny specks of rust on my rear bumper the other day, any recommendations for get'n that ***** off?
I hear that there are some semi-abrasive chrome cleaners out there, but I don't want to damage anything. I've never done any work on chrome before, so if this is a stupid question, please laugh out of earshot.

This is definately not a stupid question. Rust is something most of us are constantly fighting.
I had the same problem with my 72's rear bumper as you have. The 'miracle' solution: Wenol. That stuff is awesome. You can get it at every auto store and its really inexpensive. Of course, this is only a temporary thing, but keep using it and you'll be very happy with the results.

Steel wool, #00 and Windex will remove most rust without damage. If no Windex, try WD-40.
