Scott,
I've never been to Sunrise resort so I can't compare the two places but we've spent about 10 vacations at Wildwood.Really love the place. The beaches are great for younger children,as the surf is pretty gentle. The waves are never really that big and the beach is very flat with no big dropoffs. We always stay in Wildwood Crest as its more family oriented than Wildwood or North Wildwood. Most of the hotels are either right on the beach or within 1/2 block to the beach. You can take the jitny bus to the boardwalk which is huge.If you love gocarts like I do there are about 5 or 6 places there that if you go before 12 noon they give you double the time.If you go just plan your trip so your not on the Garden st. parkway in the late morning or early afternoon thats why its called a parkway.Oh yeah the parking spots in ALL the hotels are small so watchout for door dings.

I live about 25 minutes north of Wildwood. Definitly a family town. Giant boardwalk and plenty for the kids to do with water parks, miniture golf, go carts as mentioned....etc.

check this out www.moreyspiers.com and this www.wildwoodsnj.com/wildwoods

Also For you and the misses Atlantic City is only a half hour ride or so up the parkway if your into a show or the casino's. plus AC has the new walk outlets and world class quarter.

Don't know about the "sunrise resort" never heard of that, is there a website you can check out for it?

PS the Parkway is not that bad unless your on it coming down Friday evening and going home Sunday afternoon.
