Hi all, I could use some more advice...the particulars -

454 (+.030)
Cam 268/276, 227/233
TH400

The Lunati website says that their Voodoo 268 cam needs about a 2,400 stall speed, but the transmission guys (CK & Local guy) each recommended a stall speed closer to 2,800. Would that difference even be noticeable? Also, one of the guys is recommending a Turbo Action converter (~$335) to me which I'm not familiar with. All comments, especially the helpful ones, will be apprecaited!

I think something in the 2800-3000 range would be perfect for the street, I and others have had good luck with an 11" B&M converter, I've used two of them, using a 10" ATI converter now, pricey yes, e.t. improvement NO, it may hold up better than a B&M would have behind the new slug. ATI,Coan, Continental, Neal Chance, BTE all good name brand converters, call them and ask for THEIR recommendation
