My malibu has been sitting for over a month and now it won't shift out of first gear. I checked the fluid while it was warm/running and it was reading low, so I added the required pint. This didn't do squat - it still won't shift. Is there some vacuum lines or something that might be stuck? Shall I shift it in/out of the gears to move the fluid or something?
Prior to this it ran fine - the engine fired right up as normal. The tranny was rebuilt 6 years ago with a shift kit, but has only had about 7000 miles put on it since.
Any ideas what to check first?

Check the vacuum line going to the modulator on the passenger side of the trans

passenger side,facing the rear :D t400 is pass. side facing the side.
