69chevellemalibu Jan 26th, 02, 9:29 PM I have tried using a da with 80 , 180 , 220 grit. I have used an orbital sander with 40, 80,grit. I have gotten most the rust off, but there is still a darkish stain in the metal where the rust was. It wont seem to come off. Does that too have to be taken off. Can someone suggest a good way of takeing rust off completely.
