I just purchased reproduction wheel well mouldings for my 72 Chevelle and was wondering if they should fit snug or do they need to be modified at all to make them fit.

I just got mine and am very disapointed. they don't fit right, holes don't line up and yes, I have to really tweek them to fit tight. And to top it off they have small scrthes in them from shipping in there wrappers. I feel like just putting the originals back on and shining up the dents http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif probably look better than these cheapo repos...

i purchased one a few years ago all but the end holes matched ok. i think they're a bit over priced though.

I finally got one side done and there was some bending required but not as bad as I thought it would be. Although I'm still disappointed in them and it took me a long time to do it, they look great. Thanks for the info.

Just got a set for my 67, they look pretty crappy. They're scratched and the contour is way off. Must be par for the course on these particular parts. I'm going to do without until I find some that looks better than these.
Glad you're making progress with yours though.
