The post regarding a shaker hood made me think about other less conventional approaches too. I may have to replace the hood on my 69 Mali and have always liked the look of the mid-60's 'Vettes with "stinger" hoods. I've looked through previous posts and a bunch of catalogs and internet sites but have yet to find a manufacturer of a stinger for the Chevelle. Anybody ever seen one (or a pic of one) or know of a source? Just wondered if it was a viable choice down the line...

nickey chevrolet did one on a 68 chevelle. he installed a 427. i think there may be pics on yenko web site.

You can usually find a '67 Vette big block style hood scoop on ebay.
