Bought a complete weatherstripping set and was about to install. But I am also sending it out to get painted soon. approx. 1 month. Is it better to have it done after, or doesn't it matter??

Definitely install the weatherstripping after the paint work is completed.

reason i asked(should've originally stated this) is that I am installing a radio and new bench foam. My carpet is getting raggedy from water leaking so I was planning a full day to do everything. Now I am not going all out on the paint job. Basically repair a hole in the trunk panel, new vinyl top, and the same shade paint. Just trying to kill two birds with one stone.
