Has anyone ever trimmed their rad fan to fit a cowl. I can't move the cowl over any and it is hitting on both sides. How much clearance is there normally between the fan blades and the cowl?

Maybey trimming the fan would throw it way off balance. I don't know.

Could anyone help me out.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT try to trim the fan, you will throw the balance off and you will not be happy. I would trim the cowl first. Good luck

I figured that would be what most would tell me to do. I think I will either trim the cowl some more or just order a new fan.
