Am about ready to install the water seal and rear panels. (Below the windows). The shop manual says to use "Body Caulk". I have 3M Bedding Compound. Is this the same stuff or is there something better to use?

I'm not sure what 3M bedding compound is but you can probably use rope caulk. This can be found at any Home Depot or Lowes.

I use butyl tape stretched out to an 1/8" bead. If you don't have the new water shields you can use heavy duty trash bags. Stretch the butyl tape, apply it, and then stick the bag on. Trim with a razor blade and your done.
