: Door Skins

I have just received door skins for my '69 Chevelle. I am wondering if changing them out is a job I am able to do. I have done NO body work before, except for sanding and spot painting. Would I be better off letting the shop that will be painting the car change them, or attempting it myself?

Thanks in advance

Greg

I'd let the shop do it. Door skins are difficult even for many bodymen.

Thanks MartinSr for the reply. That is what I was leaning towards anyway, just looking for a second opinion.

do you have a FRIENDLY body shop you work with? If you do, you can save yourself a few $$$ by doing the Grunt work your self.
I.E. removing the old skin and prepping the doorshell
