: 66 elky and 66 malibu interchange???

i have a 66 elky parts car and would like to take a section of the roof and patch in my 66 malibu sunroof hole http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif anyone know if this will be possible? same contours??

You could probably do it but personally I would just put a car roof back on at the factory seams. I see you ending up with a lot of filler by the time it is over if you just cut a section and weld it in. If yo do decide to go that way you might consider panel adhesive to do the attachment. The will not be the worry about warping the roof as much.

FYI the elco uses the front windshield and front roof the same as all 64/65 cars and 66/67 sedans only. If you have a hard top the front part of the roof is different.
