I want to paint the 68 grill black my question is should i use a flat or a gloss black? Thanks

SSuper Dave Jun 22nd, 03, 4:51 PM I used Krylon #1613 Semi Flat Black after scuffing with steel wool. Looks good, but be prepared to touch up stone ships regularly. You can spray some of the Krylon into a paper cup and use a brush, or get a fat El Marko and dab it on. That actually works better! If you're wondering how the factory got the paint to stick "back in the day", the answer is that they didn't! dw Jun 22nd, 03, 5:14 PM thanx for the info and heads up...
