I finally got my 502 fired up yesterday. I replaced the cam with a Comp Extreme Energy roller with 236/242 @ 50 duration as soon as I took the motor out of the crate. I also used Headman headers and had to clearance the flanges a bit to make room for the lower bolts on the heads...no big deal. Then, I put a Keisler tremac TKO 600 behind the motor and stuck it in my '68. I haven't driven the car yet because I still have some wiring to do but I can't wait! It's an SS car with a 12 bolt with 373's and a posi but I feel a back half and a 9" Ford coming soon with this much power!
