My daughter plays softball with a girl in her neighborhood. During a game a couple weeks ago I was talking to the girls dad about chevelles. He stated he had one in his garage for sale. I went over and checked it out today. Here is what it is.

A completely rust free , with no replacement panels, primered 70 Chevelle malibu, 350 crate engine, turbo 400. The car is completely torn apart. But it comes with a lot of extra parts.

Two sets of bucket seats, with new plastic and new upholstery
An extra auto matic console.
New carpet kit
New passenger side front fender and inner fender.
70 A/C
2 extra doors.
2 complete back seats with upholstery
New still in box Goodmark Cowlie hood
1 extra complete set of glass
complete new wiring harness for the whole car.
new headliner
and boxes and boxes of extra trim, nuts, bolts, door handles etc.. I will have to make two trips in my work truck to haul all of the stuff. The kicker is, he sold it to me for $2000.00 So now I have another project.


Once I go through everything, I will have a lot of parts for sale.

Way to go Kyle ! The motor and turbo 400 are worth what you paid for the
whole car. Just think, the car and all of the other parts were free !

Sure could use a set of black buckets. (hint)

A buddy of mine might want the extra set, but if he doesnt get them. Ill give ya a good deal on them.

Yes, after I pick up the car and bring it home. I will make an itemized list of all the parts and place them in the classified section. I will post everything here for about two weeks before I put stuff on ebay. I want to give TC members first dibs and whatever Im not using. I have a 4spd console that Im keeping, but I will be getting rid of the auto console. I will even be up for some trading.

what team does your daughter play for? I'm down here in tucson az. my daughter plays with the tucson roadrunners, we've played washington teams and teams from oregon, maybe they played each other, anyway great find! Our asst coach has a friend with a 70SS454 in his yard, meeting other kids folks at tournements is a great way to find cars, you've got a common interest and they know you're not some wierdo just knocking on their door, at lieast they know you as so and so's dad, Jim

She is only 13, it is just a local select league. It is really cool meeting all parents though especially the hot single moms.. hehe..

Dont feel bad. I never find the good deals either. The one time I did find a fair deal, it got stolen not long after. :mad:

Dont worry, I didnt have any chevelles for 15 yrs.. I found 2 in 6 months. Its like your mom always told you, when you quit looking for love, love will find you.. Same thing with chevelles.. hehe
