A friend of mine gave me a Hurst Competition Plus Shifter (part # 3216274) that he was using on his 70 with a console without any problems. I swapped out my Muncie and decided to get a new Hurst stick as well and ordered an 8009 stick from Summit as that's what it calls for. It works awesome except when I need to put it in reverse it actually rubs against the brushed aluminum console plate pretty hard. Does anyone know what stick # I need that is more offset and will work better in my 70? My friend was using his original Muncie stick on his setup so I can't just ask him.
