: Does this happen to anyone else?
Dave Jul 14th, 05, 10:55 PM Started to replace a 6"x6" piece underneath the rear seat, but this is what happened.

Same thing happened with both rear 1/4's, wheel well's, and the tail panel... and oh yeah... the deck filler panel. Maybe my wife is right, it might be time to seek professional help.:clonk:
Alan Jul 14th, 05, 11:28 PM NOW that is a classic post right there ;) . All I can do is laugh! I know what you're talking about. One thing leads to another and the disease never stops.
Good Luck :D
EddieC67ss Jul 15th, 05, 12:38 AM If you are going to do it do it right. Hang in there.
540cutlaSS Jul 15th, 05, 1:32 AM Looking good. Did you get the new pans yet. I would go from start to finish on whatever area your working on. Its easy to tare them down, but putting them back takes way more time and money.
Dave Jul 15th, 05, 2:18 AM Yup, got the rear seat pan mostly installed tonite. The one piece pan is ready to go in this weekend. I had to fix the floor before I install the driver's wheel wells, then the 1/4. After I get all that caught up, the pass. side stuff will come off for replacement. So far all is fitting very well, we'll see how the one-piece fit's tommorrow night. Yeah, it's alot more fun to tear them apart. The nervous feeling is going away the further into the project I get. I feel much better as thing's continue too fit as well as they are.

Steve, what's going on? Need to hook up with you in chat sometime, hope all is going well.
Actually, I did have to put the seat in it and pull out of the garage and turn it around. Was afraid of the "Flintstone factor", could just see me with two broken legs, trying to explain it to the ER crew.

You just need a hunk of plywood and a milk crate, ;) I usually get a little time before work around 9 PM or so, stop in chat and say hey tonight. :)
