Any suggestions on a HVLP gun? I need an all around gun for primer and finish coat. Someday I hope to get my 70SS in shape for a new facelift and I need a decent gun.
Will the cheaper guns: Campbell Hause / Ingersall Rand , do the trick?
Money is a factor for me since I won't be painting alot. Would the Binks M1-G (or something similiar) be worth the extra $$$? The 200-250 range is more than I want to spend but I would if its worth the money.

Rick...I bought a Sharpe (cobalt) gravity feed HVLP gun to paint my 68. I used it for etching & filler primers as well as the base and clear coats. It cost $160.00. I like it so much, I use it in my business to spray cabinets too. For a fairly cheep gun, it does as well as the $600.00 guns I've used....

Thanks for the reply Bill. I just got an Eastwood catalog . Looks like I may try the DeVilbiss Finishline HVLP gravity gun. It's about what I wanted to spend ,I just wanted some opinions on the lowend guns.

How big of a compressor do you need to comfortably run a gun like this? All I've got is about a 5hp 30gal single stage.

Update on my gun search. Went to an auction last weekend and found a "new in the box ,never been used" Sharpe Cobalt. I bought it for $40 !!! I later found a receipt where the guy had paid 149.99 Now....... if only he'd had a couple of quarters I'd be set.
