As a mechanic I never had the need for a GOOD hammer and dollie set so I always owned a cheap set.

Now that I have been using them more and more on mine and friends cars I was going to by a GOOD set.

I strolled onto the Snappy truck and there 7 piece "starter kit" is over 400 bucks.

I don't mind speding money on snap on tools as most of my tools are snap on but that seemed so expensive. Are there hammers and dollies that much better. I haven't looked on the cornwell truck becuase he comes on Monday.

Any advice would be helpful.

Should I spend the money or look somewhere else.

Thanks Stephe

Check out this site. Ron has the finest tools and they are MUCH cheaper than Snap on. I bought a dolly off the Snap On truck for $68.00 and litterally the next day I looked at a BETTER dolly exactly the same shape at the Covell booth at a car show for $35.00. Give Covell a call, on top of everything he is a super stand up guy. http://www.covell.biz/

Agree with Martin, covell has the best stuff and its cheaper then snapon or mac. Am looking at the catalog from covell metalworks, the brand he carries is Martin. He has two great starter kits, the best kit for the money is 175. Includes 3 hammers, 3 dollies and spoon. Not only will he have just hammers but videos and books about metalwork. The number is 1800-747-4631
