Been working on this roadrunner. After about 3 days of it being done, I finally had half an hour this morning free to try and start it. nothing. Just a "click". Battery is fully charged and I have all accessories. Even tried jumping it with a different battery. Even with 2 fully charged batteries hooked up *click*. I tried jumping the starter relay. Nothing, no click, not even a spark. Any ideas of what to try?

Make sure that relay on the firewall, closed to the master cylnder, is working and grounded.

Try hitting the starter with a hammer a few good whacks right on the side. You could have a stuck armature(sp).

is it an auto or a stick? Reason I'm asking is, one time this idiot, who will remain anonymous, used a bolt that was a little too long while installing the flywheel on his buddies cuda a few years back. Seems it got hung up in the webbing at the rear of the engine and would not allow the starter or a socket and breaker bar to turn it. We ended up pulling the motor back out before we figured that one out. :(

Isn't that the dumbest thing you've heard of? Sounds like a heck of a topic, think I'll start one.

Got it fixed. new battery cable and solenoid/relay wiring (the 8 guages wires) fixed the problem. Now I have other issues once it fired...
