What will it take too make a turbo 350 out of a 72 chevelle, work in a 68 chevelle that had a 2speed powerglide in it? For some reason I cannot get the shift linkage to work properly in the turbo 350. For some reason I cannot get into park.. ANY IDEAS??? THANKS

Are you using all the 350 linkage from the 72 ? column to pivot linkage,pivot to transmission linkage? or are you using a cable shifter?

I just tried using the pivot to transmission linkage. Do I need to change the column to pivot linkage?? THANKS for the response.

I think you need to use it all when swapping from a 2 speed to a 3 speed automatic or the throws won't be right as far as getting it in the right gear.

What parts do I need to make this work?? The whole steering unit, column, ect... Because I found a kit from shiftworks, that is like $50.00, I called them and they say it will convert over with no adjustment to the column. THere kit has the right geometry for my application, so they say!!!! Thanks for all info... P.S. every knowone anyone who has purchased brackets from alan grove inc?? THanks..
