hello, I have never truely done any body work and was wondering about the process of installing a repair panel behind the front wheel well. is it a very hard procedure. Would I be able to accomplish a task like this with good results? Thanks for the info.

Depends on your equipment, skills and determination.
Can you weld ok?
Do you have a body grinder?
A mig welder is best for this. Do not use
a torch. Position the panel and clamp if you can. Make very small tacks 1/4 inch long at the most. Always move to the opposite side of the panel for the next weld. Do not go too fast. You should be able to lay your hand on the panel at all times without it being too hot. (not where you just welded though ) Keep a wet rag around if you have to, to wipe it down to remove heat. When you get done, grind it flat or a little lower than level. Again, do not gring it all at once, because the heat will buckle it. Prep the metal with degreaser, etching primer or epoxy primer. Start filling with body filler. Make sure there are no pinholes in the weld.

good luck.
