I have a convertible that needs a trunk floor and one inner wheel house replaced. How tough of a job will it be to replace the inner wheel house? Has anyone replaced wheel houses with the quarters still on the car?
Thanks

I think it would be difficult to change the inner only. The inners are attached to the trunk floor, the trunk drop offs, the outer wheelhouse and also the the inner structure located behind the back seat.are you sure the outer wheelhouse and quarter panel are solid?I would consider patching the inner wheelhouse if possible.

If your inner is rusted more then likly your quarter and outer wheel well is rusted too, I would look deeper into why that panel is rusted. Maybe your rear window channel is rusted too and along with your deck lid filler panel. Replacing those inners is not that trick, and with the quarters on and the outers still attached it would be even harder. Ive yet to see any car of that era that had inner wheel well damage and not quarter and outer wheel well damage also, so check it. I agree with 70isfine patch it...Eric
