: Quarter repair before install??

I have secured a pair of NOS GM quarters for my 70 project. They have been abused a bit from handling. They have some small deforms and light bending above the highlines. My question is should I have someone handwork the quarters before installation? If so, Where would I find an experienced panel person close to Ohio?

Yes by all means fix the dents and dings in the quarters before you intstall them. That way you can use a hammer and dolly and get at it from the backside which would produce a better end result. Good luck with your project...Eric

I agree with Eric on the hammer and dolly work, on obvious handling dings. but that as far as you should go. Do no finishing till the 1/4 panel is fit and welded in.
