I have a 65 wagon with AC. I've found some refrence to a radiator spacer? Should there be a spacer mounted to the core support moving the rad closer to engine?
I'm guessing here.
Thanks, Kevin

Cars WITH V8's had a spacer AND a fan shroud.

On air conditioned cars (like yours, the spacer was installed between the core support and the radiator bringing the radiator closer to the engine. If you have a metal fan shroud, that should go on last.

Cars WITH V8's had a spacer AND a fan shroud.
All V8 cars used the spacer. It moved the radiator .75" from the stock fan blades. Only AC cars, special high performance cars L37 (Z16), L74 (300hp 327), L79 (350hp 327) and any car ordered with the heavy duty radiator option RPO V01 including 6 cylinders came with a fan shroud.
If you have a shroud use it.

Does anyone know if one from a 67 is the same as a 65?
Thanks, Kevin
