Man those were some tuff bolts to get out. Did anyone else have the same trouble? (The rachet slipped off the bolt and I cut my finger on the rusted seat plug. I went and got a tetnis shot. lol) Finnished with a breaker bar and WD

Yeah I hear ya. I think part of the problem is (if I recall) the bolt heads are very thin and it's easy for the socket to slip off.

They are really a pain if the cat is from the northern states. At least Chevy uses a normal bolt head. I use a impact (with WD40 or heat sometimes)to save my knuckles.
Try getting a Buick's seat belt bolts off without hurting your self. They use a star shaped allen head style. Really stupid design from my view.

Your right the bolt heads are thin. I had my foot on the socket using two hands just to turn it.

One of the reasons they are so hard to get out are.... did you happen to notice after you got them out that they have a thread sealer on them, very much like a plastic loctite, I feel your pain, no thats my pain, I really busted my knuckles getting mine out too, had to laugh, I think everyone who has removed these has hurt themselfs, I can see everyone in the back of there car, with a rag wrapped around there hand, to stop the bleeding, trying to turn the ratchet with there foot.
