Just a while ago, I came home to find my '67 Wagon covered with broken glass. The glass was from an eight foot flourescent bulb that had fallen from a fixture above the car! It appears that one end on the light fixture that holds the "prong" of the bulb just let go. Down came the bulb and the rest is history.
The damage is on the left front fender with gouges in the paint all the way to metal.
Just finished the car the week before Nashville, took forever to get the car out of the paint shop........now it has to go back!!!!! I'm frustrated!!!!

Know the thought of getting it back to the shop is aggravating...so sorry to hear.

My wife and I had a 91 S-10 4D Blazer. We swore that is had a target on the back. It was hit in the back three times. I was not hit in the back before that car and not since.

Let it be known, those dam flourescent lights do let go. One fell on to my company truck 2 weeks ago. Same garage I park my paint perfect suburban in. Yikes

try to think of it as breaking a champainge bottle on the stern of a boat, at least the glass broke. hopefully it'll look as good as it probably did before.
