: For you young guys. Here are some stories!

I'm not exactly one of the young guys anymore, and I've told my share of cruising stories, and wild mishaps. I found another website , with some '60's- 80's stories, for you young guys to read, as well as you young at heart ones. No such things as Walmarts, other super clubs to cruise around, only the main streets, and a few burger joints. Also, there was no traffic in comparison to today, and much more leanient laws. Just in case you young guys get any ideas. Here is the link:

Enjoy your reading. If only there was a time machine available!

Edit by Mod: While these may be ancient history, in fairness to the younger crowd, the link is removed. Street racing sories will not be be promoted or allowed on TC. That is the rules. Thanks for understanding.

OOPS Sorry..... My bad. Must of added that policy in the year I took off from the board. Doug

Doug,

You're not old. After the kids get grown, then you're old. :)

I read some before they got yanked. Really took me back to my younger days in the mid to late 60's and early 70's.

When the first grandkid pops out, then it's all O.F. from there on out.

It's a state of mind thing, not really a physical age thing. ;)

Somedays I sure feel old. Hey Mikey, Jesse my oldest will be 11 his next B-day. My aunt used to tell me, all the time, enjoy life every day, because it sure flies by fast. Now I understand what she means.

Thanks for the clarification,Mike.I have 2 sons 22 and 26 and as far as I know Im not a grandfather yet so I guess I can hold off on the O.F. thing for awhile.Time to get the Chevelle out of the garage and go burn some rubber now that Im young again.
