I ordered semi gloss for my frame ,control arms, A arms, floor pans, etc. Whats going to look best? I think Chassis Coat (satin) might look better. What would semi gloss look best on if Chassis Coat the best way to go ? Thanks Steve
Hi,
I have used both. The semi-gloss is pretty glossy. The flat chassis coat is pretty flat.
Hope that gives a pretty good opinion. :D
Giggles aside tongue.gif , the semi-gloss looks good in the engine area, and I like the flat on the suspension parts, frame and in the trunk.

NAPA has spray cans of Chasis Black.
Looks great and dries fast.
It is packaged by Martin Senior paints
I've used several cans of it.
You might be able to get it in quarts.

Dave, if my memory is correct, I've tried NAPA chassis black. I'm fairly certain the label said chassis black. The stuff I bought came out of the can like an undercoating. I bought four cans and ended up not using them. Is this what you're referring to?

Got a tell ya, I bought GM Black reconditioning paint 1#1050104. It goes on great and is satin finish. I'm using it on the frame and suspension and engine bay. Costs about 40.00 per gallon.
