lol...real jobs in journalism? You mean like Pulitzer? King of yellow journalism? I still giggle when that award is given out to journalists. Ironic that an award like that was named after someone who readily admitted to fabricating stories, entirely, early in his career...as many still do. The real journalists must feel pretty low, especially since the obviously faked Bush guard papers were discovered by unemployed people eating cereal in their PJ's in front of their computers between online gaming matches. :D

I was thinking more along the lines of The Atlantic and The Economist, but as long as we are looking back in history, CBS is the network that gave us Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow.

blogs used to be places where people kept a public diary of the mundane crap they do in their daily lives that they figure other people might want to read abotu for some reason.
then, as it got more widely used, people started using it as a way to express their views on different subjects.
